The guest of the Forum for Strategic Studies (FORST) on October 24, 2019 was Professor Don Wallace, chairman of the prestigious International Law Institute from Washington DC, USA and one of the world’s leading experts in international law. On that occasion, prof. Wallace gave a lecture entitled War and Wealth: International Law and International Politics, followed by an interactive discussion on the subject.

The present guests and researchers, in an interactive conversation after the lecture of prof. Wallace touched many current global topics, from the events in the USA, Syria and the Middle East, as well as those happenings in the European Union and Great Britain, emphasizing on these examples different models of the relationship between politics and law, power and law. The event, lecture and discussion, were attended by associates of the Forum for Strategic Studies (FORST) and their guests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, the diplomatic corps in Belgrade and guests from the academic and media milieu.
