The Forum for Strategic Studies (FORST) had a presentation at the multicongress of Serbian think tanks Serbian Visions on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the Radisson Collection Old Mill Hotel in Belgrade, where this event was held, organized by German and Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
The presentation of the Forum for Strategic Studies consisted of a discussion on “Serbia in the 21st Century” with the participation of members and associates of the Forum for Strategic Studies – Dr. Neven Cvetićanin, Senior Research Associate at the Institute of Social Sciences and President of FORST, Dr. Duško Lopandić, Head of Analytics Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Srecko Djukic, diplomat and Mirko Jelic, diplomat, as well as distinguished guests from the audience. The discussion focused on energy and foreign policy of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the importance of research organizations and think tanks for the preparation of credible and usable analyzes in the field of foreign policy, international relations, geopolitics and public diplomacy, which could serve to create long-term public policies in these areas, so that decision makers can have a credible scientific platform for their decisions.
The event was fully attended and attracted the attention of the audience who actively participated in the discussion, which is an indicator of interest in the topics researched by the Forum for Strategic Studies as well as for the work of the Forum itself.
